Have you ever wondered why there are so many dash-cam videos from Russia? Well, there’s a good reason and you’ll see why in this dash-cam video… which is also from Russia.

Here at JOE we’re partial to the odd Russian motoring video, so much so that it’s damn near a daily occurrence. But hey, that’s Russia for you.

However, we have been wondering as of late why it’s only really Russia that has been gifting us with some truly amazing clips of near misses and total wipe-outs. Well, as it turns out, there’s some serious scamming going on.

The video below, which is over on Live Leak, clearly shows some people putting their lives at risk by jumping out in front of moving vehicles – as you (don’t) do. So the dash-cams actually prevent the scammers from getting away with their bogus claims.

There are some seriously close calls and some seriously dodgy attempts from the scammers, but our favourite has to be the lad at 0.54 seconds. It’s a fairly savage hit, but when he realises the bus never stopped to see if he was okay the bloke just gets up and walks off. Unreal.

Sadly, we don’t speak fluent Russian so we can’t translate the text, but the video is pretty self explanatory.
