Across the water, a proposed cull of the badger population has been delayed. One paper captured a badger enjoying the reprieve.
Whatever about writing headlines, writing captions is another art form. Tight for space, and usually time, hard-pressed subs can often use the humble caption to either take the piss a little or just stick up anything before deadline.
We think this caption, from the Northern Echo newspaper, definitely falls into the former category.
Maybe they had a picture of a badger with a party hat and a bottle of Smirnoff Ice but it failed to make it in time for print edition?
