This year’s 2012 Hurling All Star team has just been announced and Galway have taken the most spots with six out of the 15 places places taken by the Tribesmen.

Kilkenny might have won the All Ireland this year, but it’s clear that Galway have won the All Star battle. Kilkenny’s Henry Shefflin walked away with his 11th All Star title, which in fairness is no surprise considering his legendary status on the field, but Galway’s Fergal Moore, David Collins, Iarla Tannian, Damien Hayes, Joe Canning and Daivd Burke took up most of this year’s team.

Take a gander below at the line up for this year’s GAA/GPA Hurling All Star team.
