Divorce is an ugly thing, but this particular divorce was extra ugly.
A man in northern China named Jian Feng married his beautiful wife a few years back and they were reportedly absolutely head-over-heels about each other. So naturally, they consummated the marriage and nine months later a baby girl was born. However, that’s when the sh*t hit the fan.
Apparently, Feng thought his daughter was ugly, and not like Coppers on a weekday night ugly, we’re talking f-ugly. He thought his own daughter was so ugly that he came to the conclusion his wife must have cheated on him with the town’s ogre.
However, as it turns out, his wife didn’t cheat. She did however have over $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery done before the two met and as the old saying goes ‘the apple never falls too far from the tree’.
So Feng’s wife came clean about the cosmetic surgery and as any normal bloke would do he sued her and filed for divorce citing that he married his wife under false pretences.
He ended up winning $120,000 in the process.
