Granted, JOE is more of a Netflix man these days, but there was a time where we’d slap our foreheads and moan a plaintive ‘ah bollix!’ when we’d realise we’d never brought back that Jean Claude Van Damme box-set.
Kayla Michelle Finley was forced to spend a night in jail when police realised she’d never returned the Jennifer Lopez film Monster-In-Law to the rental shop, Dalton’s Video, nine years ago.
The 27-year-old rented the movie – which critics have probably described as ‘awful shite altogether’ – back in 2005 but never returned it, despite many written demands.
Dalton’s Video has since gone out of business, but unfortunately an arrest warrant is for life, so Ms. Finley had a night in the slammer for herself.
Of course, we all know what the real crime here was, yeah?
