Man United tell season ticket holders: If you don’t show up for Olympiakos, you won’t get into Manchester derby

Harsh. Very harsh.

JOE

Manchester United have confirmed to JOE.ie that season ticket holders who choose not to go to the second leg of the Champions League, last 16 clash against Olympiakos will have their season tickets suspended for the Premier League derby against Manchester City.

United fan Lila Coombes was informed by the club that the deadline to apply for tickets to the Olympiakos return – with the English side trailing 2-0 on aggregate – was approaching and that she would be denied access to Old Trafford on her season ticket for the City game if she doesn’t pay for the European game.

United confirmed the situation when contacted by JOE on Wednesday evening.

“The terms and conditions state that if you don’t pay for a home game in the Champions League, then the season ticket is suspended for the following Premier League game,” revealed a ticket office spokesperson.

“It’s the same for the FA Cup.”

Always read that fine print, folks.
