The Opportunity Overseas Expo takes place at the Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge later this afternoon and it could be your ticket to a new job and a new life.

If you’re currently unemployed and you’ve been looking to move away from Ireland for at least a year or two then you’d want to get yourself down to the Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge at 2pm today for the start of the Opportunity Overseas Expo.

The expo will showcase 36,000 employment opportunities in New Zealand as part of a city-rebuilding project following last year’s devastating Christchurch earthquake. Rebuilding is expected to start in the first quarter of 2013 with construction peaking in the third quarter of the year. That’s when the country is going to need roughly 36,000 skilled workers so they’ve come to Ireland to seek your help.

Positions are needed across a range of sectors including engineering, construction, accounting and healthcare.

The expo takes place today, 13 November, from 2-8pm in Clyde Court Hotel (formerly The Berkeley Court) in Ballsbridge, Dublin, so make sure to get yourself there in plenty of time to get the best jobs. We know that’s not how it works, but the early bird catches the worm… and all that.
