While reporting on a car crash in Texas the traffic reporter failed to notice a second crash happening right before her very eyes.
Traffic reporter Jennifer Reyna, for Local 2 News in Texas, was giving her daily traffic watch report, which focused on a crash at a particular interchange.
Jennifer took her eyes off a monitor for a split second and in doing so she missed a second car crash as it occurred in the exact same place as the first.
Fire trucks can be seen packing up and leaving the scene of the first crash when a car comes barrelling along the right hand side of the highway where it crashes into an SUV. The SUV then hit into one of the fire trucks and flipped onto its side.
Ironically, Jennifer says “…so yeah, it looks like that one’s going to clear up,” just as the second crash occurs. Talk about speaking too soon…
