Thanks to Kris Myers and his trusty GoPro Hero2 camera, which he mounted to his chest not too long ago, we now know what it’s like to be a drummer. Sadly, there are no strippers or blackjack featured in his video.
It’s pretty cool to see people using the small portable GoPro cameras in way’s no one would have expected. Take the ‘dog-cams’ or ‘remote-controlled plane-cams’ for example. This time around we have Kris Myers from the band Umphrey’s McGee as he records a live version of their track ‘Glory’ from a GoPro mounted on his chest. It’s a pretty cool idea and it gives you a much better look at what’s going on behind the drums.
Make sure to watch closely at the 1.18 mark and the 3.19 mark to see how easy this guy makes it look.
