The reaction to the Alex Ferguson statue unveiled at Old Trafford yesterday was mixed to say the least. Some queried the likeness, others the pose but something that unites all football fans is the ability to laugh at the misfortune of others.
That’s why this tweet from Stupid Football is the funniest we’ve see yet and it has almost nothing to do with the bronze effigy of Fergie. Instead, it pokes fun at the footballing punchbag that is Fernando Torres.
