Residents of Wicklow Town are currently searching for a 60ft inflatable snowman who mysteriously disappeared overnight and ‘Christmas treats’ are being offered to anyone with information that leads to his safe return.
Is one of your mates currently trying to flog a giant inflatable snowman on the cheap? If so you might want to get in touch with the Gardaí as someone stole a massive inflatable snowman, known to locals as “Snowy”, on Monday night from the rooftop of some shops.
“We don’t understand why Snowy was targeted”, a spokesperson told the Irish Independent.
“We also have a life-size ballerina, life-size toy soldiers, giant Victorian shoes, candy canes, musical instruments and lanterns on buildings throughout the town. They haven’t been touched”, they added.
Shop owners throughout the area are asking for his safe return and they’ve even offered Christmas treats for anyone with info that leads to Snowy’s safe return. In fairness, we’d give him back just to see what Christmas treats were in store…
