The home grown Irish crime drama Love/Hate has been given the go-ahead for a fourth series after it was revealed that 800,000 people tune into the show each week.
There’s nothing but good things being said about the gritty Irish crime drama Love/Hate and bosses at the national broadcaster, RTÉ, have given the nod for a fourth season.
However, while viewing figures for the show are at an all time high – over 820,000 people tuned in last Sunday – RTÉ bosses don’t intend on increasing in the show’s budget.
In fairness, it’s not too surprisingly that Love/Hate has been given another season, as it’s currently broadcast in places like Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and the Middle East. The show has also been sold to a Scottish network, so it’s sure to be a hit there too.
All that’s left to do now is to finish this season and to speculate on what exactly might happen to Ireland’s favourite gangster, Nidge, in the fourth.
