“Bath salts: It’s not a fad… it’s a nightmare.” That’s the message coming from the medical division of the US Navy who’ve recently released this public service announcement stating the dangers behind bath salts.
They state that bath salts are a non-regulated designer drug comprised of a synthetic cathinone, or amphetamine, that can have dangerous and debilitating effects on those who use them.
Apparently, the adverse health effects from bath salt use can range from agitation, lack of appetite, kidney failure, muscle spasms, severe paranoid delusions and psychosis.
A few bath salts related stories made international news last year, but with all the bad press and now this freaky video, we wonder why anyone would want to go near the stuff.
