The Liverpool striker has a ‘predisposition for Spain,’ according to Alejandro Balbi.
Luis Suarez would find it very hard to turn down an offer from Real Madrid, should one be forthcoming during the summer.
Alejandro Balbi says that Suarez is a lot less likely to leave Liverpool than he was this time last year, but that anything can happen in football.
“A year ago he was very likely to leave Liverpool,” Alejandro Balbi told Cadena SER of a summer that saw Arsenal push hard for the 27-year-old’s signature.
“Now I think it is very difficult because he is an idol, although clubs can offer a lot of money.
“If there is such a big offer from Real Madrid, it would be very difficult to say no. Luis Suarez has always had a predisposition for Spain.”
Suarez only signed a new contract at Liverpool last December, and any move to prize him away from Anfield is likely to involve a world record fee.
