Have you ever bumped into someone or something while texting? Well it could have been a whole lot worse, as one radio presenter recently found out.
Bumping into someone or something while texting is terribly embarrassing. You end up looking like a right tool who doesn’t know where he’s going. However, the Capital FM newsreader Laura Safe has been making headlines instead of breaking them recently, after she was recorded on CCTV walking into a frozen canal while trying to text her boyfriend.
CCTV cameras in Birmingham recorded the moment the newsreader walked into the water after strolling down a flight or stairs. She can be seen failing around in the water for a short time, but thankfully, a passer-by was there to pull her out.
Luckily, Laura wasn’t hurt after the incident, but we’re sure her pride took a right awl battering.
