There’s a time and a place for drifting your car, and it’s certainly not in the middle of a busy motorway as people try to get to work.
A section of an Oakland motorway (or highway) was unofficially closed recently when a group of drifters decided to show off in front of the midday traffic. The idiots in question posted the video onto Facebook and people were quick voice their opinions on how dangerous their little stunt was. Needless to say, the police are now looking for those involved.
Now, you know you’re in trouble when the police are after you, but you know you’re f*cked when 4chan starts hunting you down. Some users from the imageboard website decided to do a bit of investigative work and they were quick to find out the names of some of them.
Jalopnik managed to take a screen grab showing that the guys from 4chan are already on first name terms with some of the drifters…
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the case, but it looks like the leg work is already done.
