There has been a lot of fuss over the newly discovered body of Richard III in England this week and it has led one Irish fan to a surprising discovery of their own.

Ireland will go into battle this week without the services of record goalscorer Robbie Keane. The Dubliner is resting after landing his second successive MLS title so he won’t be around to lead the Irish troops against Poland on Wednesday.

When he was handed the captain’s armband, a few questioned Robbie’s leadership credentials but new evidence has been unearthed which proves he may have been born to lead.

Yesterday we brought you the incredible story of how Richard III’s body was found under a car park in Leicester. Richard, who reigned from 1452 to 1485, was made famous by the famous Shakespeare play but after his death in battle his body was lost. Until this week.

Anyway, the publication of the most famous portrait of the king sparked a thought in the mind of tweeter @hereisbrian, that is pretty spot on.

Retweeted by the lads at Off The Ball, we have to say, the likeness is fairly remarkable. So, all hail King Robbie and prepare yourselves for the jokes about his lifetime dream was to be buried under  a car park.
