Ryan Giggs’ longevity is legendary and has been often talked about, but it is really put into perspective when you see how old the rest of the current squad were when he made his debut way back in 1991.
Ryan Giggs’ amazing feats of longevity barely need to be discussed at this stage and probably won’t be appreciated until he eventually hangs up his boots, which probably won’t be for another seven or eight years.
Last weekend, his goal against Everton marked the 23rd consecutive Premier League season in which he scored a goal, while he made his 150th appearance in Europe with an impressive cameo off the bench against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
While his recent performances and some of his remarkable statistics are a testament to his longevity, his durability is really brought home to roost when you weigh up how old the rest of the current Manchester United squad were when he made his United debut against Everton way back in March, 1991.
