Are you preparing for a job interview that’s taking place in the not too distant future? One tweeter might have some helpful advice for you… being overly honest can be a bad thing.

Job interviews can be stressful events. You have to sell yourself like you’ve never sold out before and that can mean being a little bit untruthful. However, if one tweeter is to believed, being overly honest can be a bit of a weakness too.

Jorgen Sundberg, Founder and Director at Link Humans, likes to share helpful advice on getting a job and how to increase your social media awareness. Some of his recent tweets include, ‘How to find a job [8 under considered ideas]’, ‘How to get a job past the age of 50’ and ’17 types of content that Google will eat up’.

Sundberg also posted this brilliant tweet last night and it didn’t take long for it to get over 4,000 retweets and over 1,500 favourites. Honesty will get you nowhere might be a twist on a common saying, but it has never seemed more appropriate than it does here, hilarious and all as it is.
