Aston Martin are renowned for their top class, luxurious and expensive super cars. So it might be a surprise to hear they’re bringing out a £2,000 pram.
Have you ever dreamed of driving around in a brand spanking new Aston Martin while you blare the James Bond theme tune at full volume? We have, but seeing as the most recent ‘James Bond’ Aston will set you back about £90,000, and the cheapest Aston in general, the Cygnet pictured below (which is just a posh Toyota iQ) will still set you back about £30,000, we probably never will.

However, you can now give your newborn baby the James Bond lifestyle (minus the contract killings) with his or her very own Aston Martin designed pram. It’s a steal at only £2,000 (€2320) and the pram has been designed with the help of Silver Cross, another British company who first began designing “carriages” for children in 1877.
So what makes the carriage an Aston Martin? Well, the carriage uses the same leathers and fabrics as the cars, while the pram’s ‘rims’ are styled off the One-77. There is a catch though, as Silver Cross plans to make just 800 in total, so only the rich and the stupidly rich will be able to afford them.
An Aston Martin spokesman said: “Silver Cross has a long tradition of providing the finest for new families. The Silver Cross Surf – Aston Martin Edition has taken inspiration from our own expertise in engineering and design, with many of the materials and techniques used on the pram, also used in our own Aston Martin interiors. We warmly welcome the Silver Cross Surf – Aston Martin Edition into the Aston Martin Lifestyle Collection.”
You can pick one up in Harrods from April.
