This is what you call a ‘P45 mistake’.
An ‘unqualified’ Russian construction worker is surely looking for a new job right about now, after he caused €100,000 worth of damage in just a few seconds.
The incident occurred in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod at the city’s old hydroelectric plant. According to Newsru.com, the 35-ton crane and bulldozer fell 16-meters to the dry dock below, but thankfully, no one was injured.
Apparently, the driver clearly did not follow the safety protocol and his knowledge of simple physics was somewhat shaky. Newsru.com also reports that the man was just a truck driver and he wasn’t even authorised to lower the crane in the first place.
Just another day in Russia…
