If you’re going to make a sign protesting about the state broadcaster, you should at least try to spell it correctly.
Our tweet of the day today comes from the head of RTÉ’s Radio Investigative Unit, Philip Boucher-Hayes, and it includes a pretty ironic picture. There were some catholic protesters standing outside RTÉ’s Donnybrook studios this morning holding signs that read, ‘Two much violence & filth on RTÉ’ (sic)…

They’re probably hoping the state broadcaster starts showing more educational programming like the show, ‘How not to cock up your protest sign’ and ‘Spelling for school kids’.
In fairness to the protesters, it’s an easy mistake to make, but one they should really change if they want people to take their protest seriously – well, slightly more seriously.
John G. Byrne was also quick to come back with this pretty accurate response.
