George Lineker, son of the famous Gary has taken to Twitter to explain why he never quite made it at the top level, unlike his aul lad.

Sometimes, we don’t spare much of a though for the children of famous footballers, and in particular their sons, who often get asked why they’re not a pro, and shouldn’t they be a chip off the aul fella’s block?
Clearly, Gary Lineker’s son George has had that question one too many times for his liking, and he took to Twitter to explain exactly why he’s not carving out a career as a pro…and it’s because he’s “s**t”.
At least he’s got a bit of a sense of humour about it, as he explains that all he inherited from the old man were the famous ears. And probably a few bags of crisps we imagine.
