It’s official, there are 743 superhero films being released in the next six years…
Here at JOE we’re massive fans of comic book films; X-Men: Days of Future Past and Guardians of the Galaxy were easily the summer’s best blockbusters, but the cinema climate is changing.
We’re all very excited to go and see the latest films creating an Oscar buzz – we always presumed that these films were screened to critics with a literal hive of wasps in the room to generate this buzz – but 2014’s summer blockbusters will all find a comfy place on our DVD shelf, next to our copy of Showgirls of course.
This hasn’t stopped us looking ahead though, and with the news of the Marvel Civil War and DC’s amazing ‘let’s-throw-the-comic-book-cinematic-kitchen-sink-and-make-everything’ approach, we’re delighted to see a host of superhero films on the horizon.
It might be hard to keep track of all of these superheroes but fear not kind citizens, because The Incredible, The Marvellous, The Amazing JOE is here to save the day.
Take a look at all these superhero movies being released in the nest few years, surely one of these villains will actually destroy the world at some point…
