Here’s to hoping the workers in question make it down safely.
Two window washers have reportedly become trapped on the side of the One World Trade Centre in New York after their suspended scaffolding failed leaving them dangling around the 68th floor, according to CBS News.
The frightening incident happened on Wednesday at around 12:45 p.m. local time on the south side of the building.
Reports suggest that the cleaners in question had finished their work and were making their way back to the top of the building when a cable connected to their scaffolding failed. A rescue operation is currently underway…

Update: An earlier version of this story reported three workers were trapped, however, it has since been learned that two workers were in fact trapped on the side of One World Trade Centre.
