Do something great with your Tweets.

The only thing JOE got when lighting up our Christmas tree was an electric shock.

Thankfully, the kind folks at SPAR are giving The National Children’s Hospital a great deal more after they light up their own tree this year.

SPAR’s tree, which is being powered by tweets, is crying out to be lit by you guys. That’s because, when it is fully illuminated, The National Children’s Hospital will receive an awesome €20,000.

So what are you waiting for? Do it.

Simply use the #underthetree hashtag while tweeting to light a bulb.Once the 1,600 festive bulbs are lit, SPAR will make the donation to The National Children’s Hospital, marking the launch of their official charity partnership.

If you want to have a look at the Twitter Tree and happen to be in Dublin then take a stroll over to SPAR in the Ranelagh Triangle. While you’re there you might as well tweet a selfie of yourself with it too and make sure you use the hashtag #underthetree.

Tweet #underthetree to light up SPAR’s giant Twitter Christmas Tree, and Raise €20,000 for The National Children’s Hospital.
