This is heartbreaking…
They say that dogs are man’s best friend, but this amazing video shows just how loyal the animals can be to each other too.
According to the Daily Mail, this particular piece of footage was filmed in Sutton, Dublin, although it’s hard to spot any particularly distinctive Sutton landmarks in the grainy clip.
What we can see, however, is the amazing dedication of one determined dog as it stands guard over its unfortunate furry friend, presumably knocked down in a hit and run incident.
Although the footage does show the extreme loyalty of the awesome animal, we can’t help but wonder why the person filming didn’t just go over to help the devoted dog move its fallen friend off the road.
