A new low-cost airline can let you fly from Ireland to the US for just €150

Our bum is already on the plane

Paul Moore

Our bum is already on the plane.

We all love Ireland but sometimes it can get a little bit dull especially during these winter months.

How many times has your soul been crushed after leaving your house for work in morning in the pitch black only to return home…in the pitch black.

We all could do with a holiday at some point which is why we’re happy to say that Iceland’s low-cost airline, WOW air, has just announced that they’re offering a low-cost transatlantic fare from just €149.

The airline will be the first low-cost carrier to fly transatlantic from Dublin and will begin this October.

The €149 one way fair also including taxes and WOW air will fly to Boston and Washington, via Reykjavik Iceland, from Dublin Airport.

Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, offering the cheapest connection between Dublin and North America.

WOW air will fly three times a week from Dublin to Boston Logan International Airport and Baltimore Washington International, via Reykjavik Iceland.

We imagine that this is going to be quite popular with Irish holiday goers.
