Suits, spies and some serious driving
JOE has a fondness for some old school spy films which is why we’re seriously impressed the first trailer from Guy Ritchie’s big-screen reboot of the 1960s TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
It seems that the director of Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels has turned his back on the grimey underground world of cockney gangsters and is more interested in the refined, cultured and sophisticated world of espionage.
Then again we would love to see a spy like Del Boy pop up in this film.
The Sherlock Holmes director’s new flick is set during the the Cold War as CIA agent Napoleon Solo (played by Superman himself Henry Cavill) has to team up with KGB operative Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) as they form an unlikely team to stop a mysterious international criminal organization.
We’re instantly reminded of Red Heat but this looks like it has sharper suits, better chases and more action.
Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, Jared Harris and Elizabeth Debicki also feature and intriuginly its been rumoured that David Beckham will make an appearance.
Take a look.
