Tom Hardy is a very serious method actor who has massively bulked up for his roles in Bronson and The Dark Knight Rises.
We always thought that if you could combine the memorable one-liners from Bane with his impressive physicality as an MMA fighter in Warrior then he might just be a decent prospect in the UFC.
Handy in the octagon and decent with a microphone.
It seems that the English actor is happy to stick to the silver screen for now but the prospect of a Bane v Conor McGregor fight is definitely an intriguing one.
We imagine that Bane cares little for The Notorious’ 60 G’s nor would he be happy to let the ‘Irish takeover’ continue especially since he and his minions have their sights set on Gotham.
The two should settle their differences in the Octagon but until that fight arrives you’ll just have to rely on a very gifted Dublin impressionist named Thomas Nolan for all your smacktalk needs.
