Meet Stephanie Sigman…
We wouldn’t blame you if you haven’t heard of Stephanie before, because even IMDb isn’t too sure of her exact age, stating her date and place of birth to be “1987, Obregon, Sonora, Mexico”.
Sigman is set to play the role of ‘Bond Girl #3’, better know as Estrella in the 24th official James Bond movie. She’ll star alongside Léa Seydoux as Dr Madeleine Swann and Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra as the other ‘Bond Girls’, although both actresses have said the term is old-fashioned.
Here’s what the official Spectre Facebook page had to say about the latest cast announcement: “The Mexican actress was the lead in the Academy Awards-nominated Miss Bala (2011) and also starred in Norway’s submission for Best Film at this year’s Oscars®, Pioneer (2013). Her recent TV appearances include, The Bridge (2013) and Narcos (2015).”
