Comedy, Starring Ardal O’Hanlon, Ewen Bremner, Owen Roe
Two lads, who are friends purely true consequence, end up working on a famine-based theme park for a shady businessman in this mad flick.
It was written by Arthur Mathews of Father Ted fame, so as you might expect, laughs are aplenty.
Kisses
Starring Kelly O’Neill, Shane Curry, Paul Roe
This critically acclaimed drama follows two Dublin inner-city kids on their adventures around the city and its surrounding areas over the course of 24 hours. It’s a movie that’s as tragic as it is funny. A real gem.
Conversations With Other Women
Starring Helena Bonham Carter, Aaron Eckhart, Erik Eidem
Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart are at their wonderful best in this subtle, yet powerful drama, about what happens when you give into lust.
The Republic of Doyle
Starring Allan Hawco, Seán McGinley,Krystin Pellerin
This excellent show follows around a family of private investigators as they get on with their bizarre, yet fascinating, lives. Series 1-5 are available on My Prime.
Scandal
Starring Kerry Washington, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Díaz
This really is fantastic viewing. In Scandal, the former White House Communications Director starts her own crisis management firm, but soon realises that life is full of secrets. Season 1-3 are on My Prime.
This is just a taste of the absolute gems My Prime has on offer. There’s also a shed load of great viewing which you’ll be very familiar with, such as Love/Hate, Cougar Town, The Walking Dead and Grey’s Anatomy, just to name a few.
