People from Dublin and the surrounding areas are probably already familiar with Happenings, who run instant pop-up and cultural events in Dublin, including open-air movies in public venues around the city.
That concept is being taken up a notch this summer as Movie on the Beach is coming to Dublin on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Details are a little thin on the ground at present, but what we do know is that ticket availability will be limited, the event will take place on Sunday, August 2 and that the beach will be announced in the coming weeks.
The weather being the way it is in Ireland, there’s always the danger of a washout on the night…
…but if the weather does hold, it promises to be a really enjoyable experience for those lucky enough to attend.
