Yes campaigner and Irish senator Katherine Zappone asked partner Ann Louise Gilligan to re-marry her in Ireland live on RTÉ Television earlier today.
Happily for everyone at Dublin Castle today, she said yes.
Dublin Castle is very much the place to be, although reports suggest it’s exit only at the moment as the place is absolutely wedged.
