Chilling news from Virginia.

Two employees of American news station WDBJ7 were killed during a live broadcast this morning.

The incident happened as they were filming a feature at Bridgewater Plaza around 6:45 a.m.

The suspect, who hasn’t been detained, reportedly opened fire on WDBJ7’s Adam Ward and Alison Parker who died shortly after the gunfire.

Ward, a photographer, was 27-years-old, while Parker, a reporter, had just turned 24-years-old. According to the TV station, the pair’s partners are also employees of WDBJ7.

Police are currently looking for the suspect.
