PIC: Paddy Power will have taken in a lot of money after today’s All-Ireland final

Did you lose out?

Alan Loughnane

Paddy Power know their business.

Only seven of the 32 counties backed Dublin to overcome Kerry and claim the All-Ireland Football title.

Interestingly, a lot of punters put money on a draw with 36 per cent of bets predicting that the match would end all square and go to a replay.

Dublin edged Kerry 12 points to 9 earlier on, proving that Dublin, Meath, Laois, Down, Wicklow, Fermanagh and Tyrone have the island’s most astute gamblers.

The house always wins.
