Breaking news this morning.

Gardaí are continuing their investigation into the death of a man on an Aer Lingus flight from Lisbon to Dublin yesterday evening.

The 24-year-old, who is believed to be from Portugal or Brazil, reportedly felt unwell during the two hour flight before falling unconscious and dying some time later.

Flight EI 485 diverted to Cork because the circumstances and Gardaí on Leeside have now arrested a woman in connection with the incident.

Local news reporter Fiona Donnelly confirmed the news earlier.

The woman is being held at Togher Garda Station in the city.
