If you were watching the tellybox last night, you may have come across ‘Ireland’s Call’ on RTE One.
It was a joint effort from Prime Time and Nolan Live on BBC Northern Ireland, during which the results of a specially-commissioned cross border survey on feelings about a United Ireland were discussed.
Minister of State Jimmy Deenihan was one of the guests on the Prime Time side last night and to say he was taken aback when Stephen Nolan pressed him on the Irish Government’s financial capacity to cope with a United Ireland would be an understatement.
