This seems inappropriate.
Sarah Holland, a Sinn Féin candidate based in Rathfarnham, Dublin, is the target of what some consider to be a very poorly-worded Fine Gael attack ad that suggests Sinn Féin would ‘destroy’ the economy and, far more strangely, ‘kill’ jobs.
Holland’s, who is originally from Belfast, father was murdered in 2007 after a gang of local youths try to steal his van. His fatal stabbing was what prompted her to join Sinn Féin.
Fine Gael have come in for criticism for perhaps needlessly using the word ‘kill’ on the poster, given Holland’s story.
Don't like these FG FB ads.Way too personal both to the candidate n also creepy that they know where you live #ge16 pic.twitter.com/naDIojZc6q

Targeting FF candidates too. Using Candidates' own image material which is legally theirs. Bad form and illegal. https://t.co/mCx38TYbCg
