An Irishman has been arrested in Alicante over a double murder that took place in County Louth over four years ago.
The 32-year-old was detained after stepping off a flight from Belfast.
Civil Guard officers got a tip off and were waiting for him at the airport.
The arrest is in relation to the murders of Dubliners Anthony Burnett, 32, and Joseph Redmond, 25 in March 2012.
RTÉ report that the man is being detained in Spain pending extradition proceedings.
