Is he getting the jump on another General Election?
It’s only six weeks since Ireland went to the polls but, with the possibility of a coalition government between Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that we’ll be looking at another General Election before the end of May.
Still, this Micheál Martin election poster that appeared on the Malahide Road in Dublin last night is surely a bit premature, no?
Or is it a long forgotten remnant of 29 February, when the country was a more hopeful place, Renua were still a thing and we thought we’d long have a government by the start of April?
