It’s the biggest takedown in the history of New York City.
More than 100 members of a criminal gang have been arrested this morning in The Bronx.
It was the biggest bust in the history of New York City, with the raid carried out by members of the NYPD, Homeland Security and various other crime fighting agencies.
The gang is thought to be responsible for a number of murders, including that of a 92-year-old woman, and dozens of members were apprehended at dawn in and around the Eastchester Gardens NYCHA housing complex in Williamsbridge.
Warrants were issued for 120 ‘targets,’ according to New York Daily News, and more than 60 are expected to face charges for violent crimes.
The gang members are believed to be affiliated with the 2Fly YGz and the Big Money Bosses, rival gangs who have been embroiled in a bloody turf war.
