It might not actually be as bad as you thought.
Nobody was really getting their hopes up after a week in which we’ve had hail, snow, heavy rain and temperatures close to freezing, but there should be an improvement over the weekend.
Or at least a slight one.

According to Met Éireann, Friday is set to start off cold and bright with conditions worsening throughout the day as rain and hail showers become more frequent throughout Friday afternoon. It’s set to dry off in the evening but Friday night will be a cold one, with temperatures as low as 1-3 degrees in places.
Showers are set to die off a little on Saturday when conditions will be bright and sunny at times, with temperatures reaching highs of 12 degrees.
There’ll be a mix of sunny spells and showers throughout Sunday, when it will be slightly warmer than before, although bands of heavy rain are set to spread across the country on Sunday night ahead of more changeable conditions on Monday.
Not a great weekend then, but maybe as not as bad as what we’ve become accustomed to over the last few days.
