The Bahamas has issued a rare travel warning advising its citizens to exercise caution when visiting the United States.
The Bahamas, whose population is 90% black, has advised that anyone who journeys to America does not get involved in Black Lives Matter protests, and to avoid crowds.
The move comes after two separate, high-profile incidents this week in which two men were shot dead by police. This brings to 123 the number of black men killed by law enforcement in the USA this year, according to zero hedge.
The warning makes specific reference to “tensions over shootings of young black males by police officers.”
The advisory warning specifically tells young men “to exercise extreme caution in affected cities in their interactions with the police. Do not be confrontational, and co-operate.”
