It’s a big deal out West…
The first ever Aer Lingus transatlantic flight from Boston to Knock landed in Ireland West Airport this morning.
The flight comes 30 years on from the first US flight with Transamerica to the Mayo airport.
While the weather was poor, spirits were high as the airport welcomed the many guests who took the flight and set foot on West of Ireland soil.
The flight arrived in slightly after 9.00 am this morning.
