A man was stabbed to death in Crumlin on Saturday evening

A man has been stabbed to death in Crumlin this evening, according to a Garda press release.

The man, who Gardai have confirmed is in his twenties, was stabbed at Seagull House in Crumlin, south of Dublin’s inner-city.

The man was brought to the nearby St James’ Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has not been publicly named.

According to the Gardai, the incident took place at around 4pm.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. No arrests have been made.
