Footage of the late former Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine has finally been made available to the public.
Ford denied the existence of the video until his death from cancer in March of this year, and it is believed that he never actually saw it.
The video had been under a publication ban as part of an ongoing trial against Ford’s former chauffeur Sandro Lisi. Charges against Lisi were dropped on Thursday, allowing the the video to be shared by the Toronto Star.
The footage features a clearly intoxicated Ford rambling about people’s attitudes towards him while those filming him try to get him to say incriminating things about Justin Trudeau, the current Prime Minister of Canada.
The video ends after Ford appears to notice the camera, but is assured by those filming that it is turned off.
Warning: this footage may be upsetting to some viewers.
