There are six days of strike action planned for September.
Dublin Bus drivers and officials will meet on Friday with a view to averting strike action planned over six days in September.
Management at the company said they would meet “to outline the company’s position, to discuss the issues in dispute and to seek a way forward to avert industrial action.”
Stoppages are currently scheduled to take place on Thursday 8 September, Friday 9, Thursday 15, Friday 16, Friday 23 and Saturday 24.
So far, staff have rejected a proposed wage increase of 8.2% over three years, with unions at Dublin Bus seeking a rise of 15% over the same period.
The National Bus and Rail Union are seeking parity with Luas drivers, who struck a deal earlier this year after months of disruption.
