A powerful storm lashed mainland China earlier today and caused a massive, moon-shaped inflatable object to come unstowed and attack traffic in the city of Fuzhou.
Remember Dublin’s runaway Minion? Yeah, it was a bit like that.
Apparently, the moon is one of several pitched up around China to make up for the fact that the weather is miserable and it’s impossible to see the real thing.
A super typhoon is currently battering the region; it’s the strongest that Fujian province has known in at least 67 years.
Nobody was hurt by the runaway moon.
