Doctor Strange is being released this week and aside from the uberly cool Benedict Cumberbatch in the leading role, Marvel’s latest film features a plethora of wonderfully gifted actors.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen and the effortlessly charming Rachel McAdams are all on board, but it’s the star of Mean Girls, About Time and True Detective that seems most enamored with Ireland , in particular, the men.
Speaking with Xposé’s Cassie Stokes, McAdams said that she has “never met an Irish man I didn’t like”, before praising some of the Irish actors that she has worked with like Colin Farrell, Domhnall Gleeson and Cillian Murphy. She said “they’re so great to work with and warm and funny and humble.”
When asked if there are any Irish men that she would like to work with, the Wedding Crashers star replied “There’s no one left! Maybe Niall Horan?”.
